[CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC] – The popular Summer Entertainment Series kicks off its nine-week run on June 6! Intended for young children and their parents or chaperones, this show series features different entertainers and presenters each week at James Island and Wannamaker County Park.
The Summer Entertainment Series aims to give kids and families a fun-filled opportunity to visit their parks and enjoy some entertainment. Admission to the entertainment series is $4 per child in advance, or $5 on the day of the show if it is not sold out. Ages 2 and under and chaperones or parents are free with child admission. The series is very popular, so advance registration is recommended.
Shows are held at 10 a.m. on Wednesdays at James Island County Park’s Edisto Hall, and on Thursdays at North Charleston Wannamaker County Park’s Cypress Hall. In July and August, Wannamaker will offer two shows, at 9:30 and 11 a.m. Seating begins 30 minutes prior to each show.
