More Information

Groups planning to have bands, loudspeakers, or other amplified sounds (including DJs) must get approval from the park manager by calling 843-762-9516. The City of Folly Beach requires two officers be present for the evening portion of a combination rental for any college-related group or for any group that exceeds 175 people. One additional officer is required for each additional 100 people. This is an additional charge of $35 per hour per officer (minimum 5 hours) to the customer beyond the shelter rental fee.

Due to limited parking at Folly Beach County Park, visitors are encouraged to arrive early, carpool when possible, and expect delays when entering the park. Groups using the Pelican Watch are not permitted to bypass the line and must follow all traffic laws and direction from park management.
