Reach for new heights! The Climbing Wall at James Island County Park is one of the Lowcountry's tallest outdoor climbing facilities. We offer challenges for every climber regardless of experience, with our 50-foot wall that features more than 4,500 square feet of climbing space, or our separate 1,500 square-foot bouldering wall.

Explore the calm lakes of James Island County Park on James Island, Palmetto Islands County Park in Mount Pleasant or Wannamaker County Park in North Charleston by renting one of our pedal boats. Or get a first-hand view of the waterways of the Lowcountry when you are aboard a kayak, canoe or stand-up paddleboard during one of our paddlesports programs.
