[ARCHIVED] Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series returns Friday!

[JAMES ISLAND] – The Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series at James Island County Park continues! The next concert in the series is coming up on Friday, June 26 at James Island County Park with ReggaeInifinity.

Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and close at 11 p.m. Music by ReggaeInfinity begins at 8:30 p.m. Based out of Columbia, ReggaeInfinity specializes in authentic Roots Reggae. Band members hail from various Caribbean Islands plus throughout the US. Original, positive music written by Ras B along with occasional covers keeps everyone feeling, dancing and listening to the positive vibes.

For the perfect ending to a long week, bring your chair or blanket, kick back, and relax to an awesome outdoor reggae concert in the beautiful setting of James Island County Park. All ages are invited. Hungry concert-goers can purchase Caribbean-style dishes and festival foods on site at the event. Crafters and other vendors will be on site displaying crafts and souvenirs available for purchase. Advance tickets are not available; admission is $10 per person at the gate. Gold Pass holders and kids 12 and under are free.

Additional reggae concerts will take place on Fridays throughout the summer at James Island County Park. The 2015 Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series lineup is:

• June 5: Coolie G & Lion Soul Reggae Band
• June 26: ReggaeInfinity
• July 10: Mystic Vibrations
• July 31: Jah Works

No outside alcohol or coolers are permitted into the event. James Island County Park is located at 871 Riverland Drive.
