[JAMES ISLAND] – The Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series continues on June 5! After a springtime premiere in April, the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) returns the series on Friday, June 5 at James Island County Park.
Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and close at 11 p.m. Music by Coolie G & Lion Soul Reggae Band begins at 8:30 p.m. Based currently out of Columbia, Coolie G and Lion Soul Reggae Band was established in 2005 with members from South Carolina and Belize. For the perfect ending to a long week, bring your chair or blanket, kick back, and relax to an awesome outdoor reggae concert in the beautiful setting of James Island County Park. All ages are invited. Hungry concert-goers can purchase Caribbean-style dishes and festival foods on site at the event. Crafters and other vendors will be on site displaying crafts and souvenirs available for purchase. Advance tickets are not available; admission is $10 per person at the gate. Gold Pass holders and kids 12 and under are free.
