On “Cyber Monday,” Dec.1, the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) will offer one day only deals on the park system’s most popular passes through online sales.
When purchasing from CharlestonCountyParks.com on Dec. 1, the Gold Pass will be available for $15-$30 off its regular price. The Gold Pass allows the passholder and his or her family admission for a full year into nine different CCPRC parks, including James Island County Park, Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park, North Charleston Wannamaker County Park, Caw Caw Interpretive Center, Folly Beach County Park, Isle of Palms County Park, Kiawah Beachwalker Park, the Folly Beach Fishing Pier, and McLeod Plantation Historic Site (opening Spring 2015). Passholders also receive free admission to select park events and festivals. The Gold Pass is usually available to Charleston County residents for $65, or non-residents for $80, and will be available Dec. 1 to all buyers for $50.
Waterpark passes will also be sold online at a discount at CharlestonCountyParks.com on Dec. 1 only. Splash Passes and Super Splash Passes will be discounted nearly $15 each. The Splash Pass, for sale at $45 from the regular price of $59.99, allows the holder season-long admission in 2015 to Splash Island Waterpark in Mount Pleasant and Splash Zone Waterpark on James Island. The Super Splash Pass, for sale at $75 from regular price of $89.99, will allow the holder admission into Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Waterpark, Splash Island Waterpark, and Splash Zone Waterpark in summer 2015. Both passes also offer free gate admission into Palmetto Islands County Park (which houses Splash Island) and James Island County Park (home of Splash Zone), and Super Splash Passes provide free entry to Wannamaker County Park (home of Whirlin’ Waters).
Prices will be valid on Dec. 1 online only.
