The Reggae Night Summer Concert Series is moving to Friday! The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) will kick off the first concert of the series on Friday, June 6 at James Island County Park. Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and music by De Lions of Jah begins at 8:30 p.m.
De Lions of Jah is an eclectic reggae group that fuses traditional roots music with contemporary dance hall and dub influences. The band originates from and is based in Jacksonville, Fla., with members from around the world including a lead singer from Antigua, a keyboardist from St. Thomas and a drummer from Charleston.
