[ARCHIVED] Parks & Facilities Status For January 30

The following is a list of park and facility conditions as of 1:15 pm:

  • Mount Pleasant Pier: The pier is inaccessible for walking or fishing due to ice, but the River Watch Cafe & Gift Shop is open and serving hot beverages and sandwiches.
  • Cooper River Marina: The south docks of the marina are inaccessible due to ice, but the store and office are open.
  • Palmetto Islands County Park: The park is open, but the park center is inaccessible due to ice. The trails have some spotty ice, so please use caution.
  • Isle of Palms County Park: The park is open, but the beach is inaccessible due to ice on the boardwalk.
  • Kiawah Beachwalker Park: The park is open, but the boardwalks are slick. Please use caution.
  • James Island County Park: The park is open, but the trails have some spotty ice, so please use caution.
  • Folly Beach Fishing Pier: The pier is inaccessible for walking or fishing due to ice, but the Gift Shop is open.
  • Folly Beach County Park: Open
  • Caw Caw Interpretive Center: The park is open, but the trails have some spotty ice, so please use caution.
  • North Charleston Wannamaker County Park: The park is open, but the unpaved nature trails are closed because of ice on wooden bridges.
  • Wannamaker North Trail: Closed.
