Open to the public! Bring a chair and come cheer!
Athletes from Columbia, Rock Hill and Charleston will compete at various levels. Participants have spent 10 weeks practicing prior to the competition, learning many aspects of kayaking including paddling, turns, and boat care. The competition will take place at the lake at James Island County Park, meeting at the boat launch area.
This year’s invitational is presented in partnership with the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission and presenting sponsor, Charleston-based company, Folbot.
