Party in the Park with your Pup! James Island and Palmetto Islands County Parks Host Dog-Friendly Events this Spring
Dog owners, after a long day at work, pick up your pooch and join the fun at events held in May especially for dog owners! Charleston County Parks introduces Pups, Yups and Food Trucks on select Thursday evenings at Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park, on May 9, 23 and 30. And, the popular Yappy Hour series returns to James Island County Park on May 16, June 6, Aug. 22, Sept. 19 and Oct. 10!
Mingle with friends old and new while your dog visits with his favorite pals. Both events will be on select Thursdays, so come out starting at 4 p.m. to enjoy beverages and live music in the park with your dog! Best of all, both events are free with park admission (food and beverages available for an additional fee).
