[ARCHIVED] Holiday Festival of Lights Fun Run & Walk Nov. 7 & 8

[JAMES ISLAND] – One of the area’s most beloved family fun runs has been expanded to two nights! The popular Holiday Festival of Lights Fun Run and Walk will be offered on Wednesday, Nov. 7 AND Thursday, Nov. 8. Join this two-mile non-competitive fun run and walk for a special sneak peek of the 23rd annual Holiday Festival of Lights at James Island County Park.

Runners and walkers will be the first in Charleston to view more than 600 magical light displays. After reaching the finish line, participants are invited to enjoy the festival's amenities. Admission ticket (not receipt) is required for event entry, and must be purchased in advance. The Fun Run and Walk often sells out, so interested participants are encouraged to register today to guarantee their spot in one of the night’s events!

3 Ways to Register:

1. Register online at www.ccprc.com/funrun by Tuesday, Nov. 6

2. Register by phone at (843) 795-4386

3. Register in person at CCPRC Park & Program Services (861 Riverland Dr.) by 4:30 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 7

The event begins at 6:45 p.m. The park will reopen to traffic at approximately 8:30 p.m. Socialized dogs are welcomed on short, non-retractable leashes. Retractable leashes, bicycles, skateboards, rollerblades, and scooters are not permitted.
