[ARCHIVED] Free Movie at the Mount Pleasant Pier

Free Family Film on the Lawn Aug. 24 at the Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park and Pier!

[MOUNT PLEASANT] -- This summer, the Town of Mount Pleasant and the Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission present a series of free family movies outdoors on the Charleston Harbor! Held at the Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park and Pier, the last of the summer series will be presented on Friday, Aug. 24. Bring chairs and spread out on the park’s Great Lawn to enjoy an evening movie on the giant inflatable screen.

Best of all, it’s free! Parking fees at the Memorial Waterfront Park will be waived during the film. Drinks, treats and snacks will be available for purchase at the pier’s Riverwatch Cafe, and on-site vendors will sell kettle corn, hot dogs, funnel cakes, beverages and more. At the foot of the Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge on Charleston Harbor, the scenic Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park and Pier will be a great spot to bring the family to enjoy an evening under the stars in the cool harbor breeze!

Movie listings are available online at www.ccprc.com/movies. All movies begin approximately at sunset.

Bring the family out to enjoy your favorite films for free! The Mount Pleasant Memorial Waterfront Park and the Mount Pleasant Pier are located at the foot of the Arthur Ravenel, Jr. Bridge at 71 Harry Hallman Blvd.
