This 4th of July, Charleston County Parks invites the Lowcountry to celebrate at the annual Uncle Sam Jam event on the Mount Pleasant Pier! Enjoy the cool harbor breeze and dance to live beach music by local favorite Permanent Vacation as they perform at the end of the pier Wednesday, July 4.

At the foot of the Arthur Ravenel Jr. Bridge, stretching 1250 feet out into Charleston Harbor, the scenic Mount Pleasant Pier will be a great spot to watch the area’s best fireworks display!

Celebrate Independence Day as Permanent Vacation performs favorite beach and classic oldies tunes throughout the evening. Beverages will be available for purchase on site; made-to-order sandwiches, handspun milkshakes and snacks will also be on hand at the pier’s Riverwatch Cafe and Gift Shop. Gates open at 7 p.m., and music starts at 8 p.m.

Only 800 tickets will be sold for the Uncle Sam Jam, so get yours soon! Tickets are $10, or $8 for advance tickets for residents of Charleston County only.

For further information or to purcase tickets, call (843) 795-4386 or visit www.ccprc.com/unclesamjam.
