Relax After Work with your Pooch at James Island County Park’s Yappy Hour!
CHARLESTON – Dog lovers, after a long day at work, pick up your pooch and join the fun at Yappy Hour on May 17 at the James Island County Park Dog Park.
Mingle with friends old and new while your dog runs around with his favorite pals. Come out after work from 4 – 8 p.m. with your pup to enjoy live music on stage in the dog park.
On May 17, live music will be provided by Charleston’s local band Folk Grass. Self-described as a blend of Folk, Bluegrass, and Blues tunes, Folk Grass will perform their unique brand of funky alternative groove. Beverages will be available for purchase. This event is free with the general $1 park admission or with the Charleston County Parks Gold Pass!
Outside alcohol is prohibited. No coolers, please. When outside of James Island County Park’s off-leash area, dogs must be leashed at all times.
James Island County Park will host more Yappy Hour events this summer! Upcoming Yappy Hours will be held on June 7 with singer Nathan Calhoun, and August 23 with acoustic duo Rawberry Jam.
