Charleston County Parks is applying for the S.C. Recreational Trails Program Grant for a trails and boardwalks project located at Old Towne Creek County Park, 1400 Old Towne Rd., Charleston, SC 29407. The S.C. Recreational Trails Program is a federal-aid assistance program designed to help states provide and maintain recreational trails for both motorized and non-motorized recreational trail use. The grant is an 80-20-match program funded by the Federal Highway Administration and administered by the South Carolina Department of Parks, Recreation & Tourism. Upon completion, this project will include trails and boardwalks throughout Old Towne Creek County Park.
