[James Island] – Come and enjoy a taste of Jamaica with the Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series on Friday, Aug. 3. The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) will host Mystic Vibrations at James Island County Park.
Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and music by Mystic Vibrations begins at 8:30 p.m. Event gates will close to incoming traffic at 10:30 p.m. and the event will end at 11 p.m.
Mystic Vibrations originally grew roots in Little London, Westmoreland, Jamaica before spreading to the U.S. in 1992. Mystic Vibrations is a four-piece rhythm section band with exceptionally talented members who have since released two studio albums, “People Get Ready” and “Busy Street.” Over their years of success, Mystic Vibrations has developed a large fan base that attends their concerts around the world. This series wrap up is an event that Reggae fans will not want to miss!
The Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series welcomes guests of all ages. Attendees are encouraged to come out with a chair or blanket and relax during an outdoor show at James Island County Park. Food is available on site. Crafters and vendors will also be on site with souvenirs available for purchase. Advance tickets are not available, and admission is $10 per person at the gate. Gold Pass holders and kids 12 and under are free. Concert will take place rain or shine.
No outside alcohol or coolers are permitted into the event. James Island County Park is located at 871 Riverland Drive.
