[JAMES ISLAND] – Every dog’s favorite happy hour event is back! Yappy Hour at the James Island County Park dog park returns for the season on April 26.

On select Thursdays this spring and fall, dogs and the owners who love them are invited to the dog park to relax with a cold drink during Yappy Hour. This social event features live music and beverages for purchase at the park’s off-leash dog park.

At the event’s season kickoff on April 26, musician Logan Kidder will perform live in the dog park from 4 – 8 p.m.

Admission to Yappy Hour is included with admission to James Island County Park, which is $2 per person or free for Gold Pass members. Beverages, including beer and Coke products, will be available for purchase. All outside food, alcohol and coolers are prohibited.

Dogs and humans are encouraged to take this opportunity to relax with friends while watching their off-leash canine at Yappy Hour.
