[JAMES ISLAND] – The Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series continues with its third concert series on Friday, July 8! The Charleston County Park and Recreation Commission (CCPRC) will host Selah Dubb at James Island County Park.
Gates open at 7:30 p.m. and music by Selah Dubb begins at 8:30 p.m. Formed over 20 years ago, this trio brings to the stage a positive, high-energy vibe with their modern surf-reggae-rock music. Their original song writing and integration of technology in their live performances gives this group a distinctive sound. Selah Dubb has had many opportunities to open for some of their favorite artists, including Widespread Panic, Train, The Wailers, Jimmy Cliff and many more!
For the perfect ending to a long week, bring your chair or blanket, kick back and relax to an awesome outdoor reggae concert in the beautiful setting of James Island County Park. All ages are invited. Hungry concert-goers can purchase food on site at the event. Crafters and other vendors will be on site with souvenirs available for purchase. Advance tickets are not available; admission is $10 per person at the gate. Gold Pass holders and kids 12 and under are free.
Additional reggae concerts will take place on select Fridays throughout the summer at James Island County Park. The 2016 Reggae Nights Summer Concert Series lineup is:
