Many Charleston County parks and facilities will be closed on Christmas Eve Day, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day so that staff may spend time with their families:
• Caw Caw Interpretive Center - Closed
• Cooper River Marina - Closed
• Folly Beach County Park - Closed
• Folly Beach Fishing Pier – Closed (Locklear’s Restaurant will be open Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve)
• Holiday Festival of Lights - Opens at 5:30 p.m.
• Isle of Palms County Park - Closed
• James Island County Park - Closed
• Kiawah Beachwalker Park - Closed
• Laurel Hill County Park - Open Sunrise to Sunset
• McLeod Plantation Historic Site - Closed
• Mount Pleasant Pier – Pier open to walk, but River Watch Cafe & Gift Shop will be closed
• Mullet Hall Equestrian Center Trails - Open Sunrise to Sunset
• North Charleston Wannamaker County Park - Closed
• Palmetto Islands County Park - Closed
• Park & Program Services Office - Closed
• The Campground & Cottages at James Island County Park - Open to registered guests

During December, James Island County Park will close to all incoming visitors at 4:30 p.m. Guests must exit the park by 5 p.m. so that staff may prepare for the Holiday Festival of Lights.
