A Gold Pass membership unlocks a full year of fun, adventure, and unforgettable experiences in your Charleston County Parks. Members enjoy admission to the select county parks listed below, making it easy to explore, relax, and play whenever the mood strikes.

Beyond park admission, a Gold Pass membership also includes free entry to a variety of programs, festivals, and special events throughout the year giving you even more opportunities to make memories in your Charleston County Parks.

Admission is valid for up to 15 people per vehicle, unless otherwise specified. Gold Pass card or mobile app must be presented to be scanned for admission; receipt of purchase is not valid for entry. Member benefits subject to change and may not be combined with additional offers. 

* December 1, 2025 - November 30, 2026: Gold Pass members may register for up to four spots total for the Wednesday and Saturday walks. From December 1, 2026 on, Gold Pass members may register for up to two spots total for the Wednesday walks only.

Passes may also be purchased at park offices. Charleston County residents contribute to the development of our county park system through property taxes, therefore a discounted rate is available to them. Charleston County resident and Senior 60+ discount will appear in cart.

Climbing Wall passes are non-transferable photo IDs that offer free climbing at the Climbing Wall and free entrance into James Island County Park for either one year or one month from date of issue.

Youth 12 & under and seniors 60+ receive a 20% discount that will be applied in cart. Pass must be presented to be scanned for admission; receipt of purchase is not valid for entry.

The Individual Pass is a non-transferable picture ID valid for walking, biking, and driving into James Island County Park, Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park, North Charleston Wannamaker County Park, the Wannamaker North Trail, Laurel Hill County Park, Lighthouse Inlet Heritage Preserve, Meggett County Park, Caw Caw Interpretive Center, Stono River County Park and the walking trails at Johns Island County Park only and not valid for other passengers in your vehicle or for admission into special events. Dogs or bikes are not allowed at Caw Caw Interpretive Center.

The Pier Fishing Pass is a non-transferrable pass that offers free fishing from the Folly Beach Pier or the Mount Pleasant Pier for one year from date of issue.

 The annual SK8 Pass is a non-transferable identification card that offers free skating and BMX at SK8 Charleston for one year from date of issue. SK8 Pass must be presented to be scanned for admission; receipt of purchase is not valid for entry.
