McLeod Plantation Historic Site Group Visit Inquiry Request
-
Our site is dedicated to the preservation and interpretation of African-descended histories. Tours focus on the lives of the enslaved and their freed descendants from 1851 to 1990. The guided tour is a one-hour walking tour, covering less than a quarter mile of grounds, and includes periods of extended standing. Seating is not available for the entirety of the tour. If your group needs assistance with mobility, please let the coordinator know in advance. Please note that the tour of the house is self-guided and is included in your admission, but is not a part of the guided tour experience. Guests are welcome to self-guide on the first level of the home, where there are interpretive panels located in four rooms.
