Designed to challenge, entertain, and inspire, our programs focus on developing physical, social, and decision-making skills while promoting self-confidence, environmental awareness, and, plenty of fun. Junior Counselor Leadership Program
Aspiring teen leaders (ages 13-16) are invited to apply for the Junior Counselor Program. Junior Counselors play a vital role in the daily operations of our Explorers Camp, assisting staff with a variety of activities and duties. Mentored by camp staff, Junior Counselors will hone their skills in areas such as public speaking, confidence, and organization.
Camp Scholarships
Summer camp scholarships for select camps are offered through the Charleston County Parks Foundation, the nonprofit partner of the Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission. Scholarships create opportunity for children who need financial assistance to attend our camps.
