[MOUNT PLEASANT] – Palmetto Islands County Park will host its next Palmetto Park Jam on Sunday, Oct. 11. A perfect afternoon for anyone who loves great music, Palmetto Park Jam will feature Charleston-based Allman Brothers tribute band Idlewild Revival, along with opening act Novatones.
Gates for the event open at 11 a.m. Music from Novatones will begin at 12 p.m., and Idlewild Revival will play starting at 1:30 p.m.
Held in a family-friendly festival atmosphere in the meadow at Mount Pleasant Palmetto Islands County Park, the event will also feature food trucks offering up food for sale, cold drinks, and craft vendors selling goods. Guests are encouraged to bring chairs or blankets to settle in for an afternoon of music, community and the outdoors.
Admission to the event will be charged per vehicle of up to 15 people. Advance admission will be $20 per car, or $30 per car on site if the event is not sold out. Advance ticket purchase is highly recommended. Gold Pass holders will be admitted free of charge, but are not guaranteed admission should the event sell out in advance. Outside food, alcohol and coolers are prohibited at Palmetto Park Jam. Dogs are welcome, but must remain leashed.
