[JAMES ISLAND] – Get a running start on the holiday season! Runners and walkers of all experience levels are invited to James Island County Park for a sneak peek of the Holiday Festival of Lights at this year’s Fun Run and Walk on Wednesday, Nov. 11 and Thursday, Nov. 12. Charleston County Parks recommends arriving at the park by 6 p.m. Park gates will close to traffic at 6:30 p.m., with the event beginning shortly thereafter. Roads will reopen to traffic when all pedestrians have cleared the road.
