Celebrate the Start of the School Year with Charleston County Parks’ Back to School Kickoff!
Join us at Lincoln Recreation Center and get excited for the new school year on August 1
{MCCLELLANVILLE, SC} – Charleston County Parks’ Back to School Kickoff in McClellanville is a great way to close out summer, while also having lots of fun getting ready for back-to-school season. Join us for a day of fun for the whole family at Lincoln Recreation Center (714 Lincoln Rd. McClellanville, SC 29458) on Saturday, August 1 from 11 a.m.- 2 p.m.
The Back-to-School Kickoff is a free event and will feature music from DJ Darin McNeal, jump castles, face painting, a school supplies giveaway, climbing wall, and food available for purchase from Two Chicks on Wheels and The Ice Cream Team.
Attendees can also visit with community partners including the The South Carolina Burn Center at MUSC Health, Safe Kids Charleston Area, the McClellanville Library, Bundles of Joy diaper bank, and the Awendaw McClellanville Fire Department.

- Food and beverages will be available for purchase from food trucks during the event, or you may bring your own food. Alcohol is prohibited.
- Guests are encouraged to bring blankets and chairs for seating.
