Official Festival Ornament 

For 37 years, the Holiday Festival of Lights has been a beloved holiday tradition for Lowcountry families and visitors from around the world. Santa’s Workshop is 24kt gold on brass. The ornament is part of the collectible series produced by the Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission. Proceeds from the ornaments go towards further development of the Holiday Festival of Lights.   

The 2026 Ornament: Serpent of the Stono 

Visitors to the Holiday Festival of Lights are enchanted by the fire-breathing dragon known as the Serpent of the Stono. Local lore tells of a mysterious creature that glides through the waters of the Stono River along James Island County Park. At the Holiday Festival of Lights, magic fills the air, inviting all who visit to believe in the wonder just beneath the surface.
