Splash Zone Groups & Parties

Group visits to a water playground like Splash Zone Waterpark at James Island County Park are great for a full-day outing for churches, schools, companies, and other organizations. Have a birthday party, entertain your clients, say thank you to your employees, or enjoy a relaxing setting for your family reunion. Splash Zone Party Package

  • All day admission for 10 or 20 people (including the guest-of-honor) into James Island County Park and Splash Zone Waterpark.
  • Cabana with two picnic tables for three hours. Each cabana is 16’ x 16’ with a canvas roof, located in a shaded picnic area. Each includes two picnic tables and can seat up to 16 people at one time. There is a 50 person maximum per cabana.

Party Times

  • Parties are held two times a day: 10:30 a.m. or 2:30 p.m. 
  • Reservations must be at least 10 days in advance.


  • $160 per 10-person party or $280 per 20-person party
  • $11.99 + tax for each additional person (maximum of 5 additional for the 10-person party and no maximum for the 20 person party)
  • Full payment is due at the time of booking. Admission tickets will sent after payment is received.

Cancellations & Refunds

All party cancellations include a 50% cancellation fee. No refunds will be made unless tickets are returned.

Meal Options for Cabana Rentals & Party Packages

Cake & Ice Cream

  • With the cabana rental or party package, groups may bring their own cake and/or ice cream to celebrate a special occasion. No other food or beverage is allowed into Splash Zone.
  • The group will need to provide all necessary paper products and cutting utensils.
  • Cakes and/or ice cream must be in a paper or plastic container. No glass is allowed.
  • Cakes and/or ice cream will be stored by park staff until the group is ready for it.

Party Platters

  • Groups may pre-order party platters for $30 each, plus tax (minimum of two) to be delivered to their cabana at a designated time.
  • Each platter serves five people.
  • Choices include chicken fingers, turkey hot dogs, corn dogs, Smuckers Uncrustables PB&Js, or grilled cheese sandwiches
  •  Each platter includes fries, chips, or mixed fruit and two pitchers of water and pink lemonade.
  • Plates, napkins, and cups are provided.

You are welcome to bring your own bag lunches into James Island County Park, however no outside food or beverages are allowed inside Splash Zone. You will need to leave your lunches in your vehicles, and then exit the waterpark to have your lunch in one of our many shaded and convenient picnic locations. Groups may also individually purchase food or ice cream from one of the food stands located inside the waterpark.

We reserve the right to use photos or videos taken of visitors while they are at Charleston County Park & Recreation Commission facilities or events for publicity purposes. Please lock your vehicle, and remove valuables from view. CCPRC is not responsible for any lost, damaged, or stolen property.
