Easeful movement promotes increases in range of motion, balance and flexibility, a sense of calm, and enhances overall wellbeing. Beginners, and those living with physical challenges will find this class particularly helpful. Open to all bodies, all abilities, Gentle Yoga Flow is an active living program designed to introduce older adults to new experiences, people, and opportunities. This program is supported by the Charleston County Parks Foundation.
Registration
Register by March 23 for all 12 classes for a discounted fee of $5 per class. Fee increases on March 24 to $6 per class. Must register for all remaining classes. Limited space available. Registration is not available onsite.
About the Instructor
Kristina Rad is a dedicated educator and community member who lives and works in the Hollywood community. A graduate of Charleston Southern University, Kristina currently serves as a Head Start Teacher at Minnie Hughes Elementary, where she brings compassion, creativity, and commitment to her students each day.
Most recently, she expanded her skill set by earning certifications through Breathe For Change as a Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT 200) and a Social Emotional Learning Facilitator (SEL*F). These practices further support her mission to foster well-being, mindfulness, and emotional growth in both children and adults. Guided by her desire to live a purpose-driven life, Kristina strives to share light, love, and positivity with everyone she encountes.
What to Expect
Ages 10 & up. A registered and paid chaperone is required for ages under 15. This class is held indoors in a climate-controlled space. Accessible parking, classroom entrance, and restrooms available.
