The Pelican Watch Pavilion at Folly Beach County Park

The only public beachfront rental facility in Charleston County, the Pelican Watch Pavilion at Folly Beach County Park overlooks the beautiful shoreline known as “the Edge of America.”

Rental Fees

March – October

  • Monday - Thursday: $800 (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) or $1,300 (9 a.m. - 10 p.m.)
  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday: $2,000 (9 a.m. - 10 p.m.)

November - February

  • Monday - Thursday: $750 (9 a.m. - 5 p.m.) or $1,250 (9 a.m. - 10 p.m.)
  • Friday, Saturday & Sunday: $1,400 (9 a.m. - 10 p.m.)

  • This facility has limited accessibility for individuals with disabilities.  Please call 843-795-4386 to discuss how this may impact your event and ways we can accommodate your group.
  • Full payment of the rental fee and an additional $500 refundable security deposit is required in order to reserve this facility.
  • All rental equipment must be picked up immediately after your event.
  • Worried about wind or rain? The following are available to add on to your reservation:
    • 20 x 20 Canopy Tent Setup on Pavilion lawn: $250
    • Pavilion Side Panels (upstairs only and includes all three open sides): $250
  • Due to limited parking at Folly Beach County Park, visitors are encouraged to arrive early, carpool when possible, and expect delays when entering the park. Groups using the Pelican Watch are not permitted to bypass the line and must follow all traffic laws and directions from park management.
