Summer in December was great, but trout in January is even better!! Sure we have some cold days ahead, but that doesn't stop the fish from feeding. The ocean so far has maintained a temp in the upper 50's, and with a calm wind there is sure to be some sheepshead feeding on the pier pilings. Move into the surf gullies on a warm day and you'll find spotted sea trout and whiting. Regardless, a slow fishing day is better than a work day so come on out to the Folly Pier, relax, and enjoy the sunshine.
