[ARCHIVED] More to see and do at the Holiday Festival of Lights!

[CHARLESTON] – At this year's Holiday Festival of Lights, be sure to stop by Santa's Village for more entertainment offerings held free of charge on select nights!

After viewing the festival’s 700+ light displays, event-goers are invited to park the car in designated lots and explore other areas of the park for even more to see and do. Additional entertainment features held in December will include celebrity storytelling, performances by the Charleston County School of the Arts, holiday carolers, stilt walkers, visits with Mr. and Mrs. Claus, and much more. These offerings are included with festival admission and will take place in Santa’s Village, located near Santa’s stage within the park.

Live entertainment and family activities in Santa’s Village include:
Holiday Storytelling, 6:30 & 7:30 p.m.: with the South Carolina Stingrays on Dec 15, and with Mayor-elect John Tecklenburg on Dec. 22.
Lowcountry Power Brass, 7 – 9 p.m. on Dec. 10, 17.
Charleston County School of the Arts performance, 6 & 7 p.m. on Dec. 14, 16, 18 & 21
Holiday Carolers, 6 – 8 p.m. Dec. 12 & 19
Visit with the South Carolina Aquarium: 6 – 8 p.m. on Dec. 10, 16 & 17. Find the Shark in the Park for a prize!
Ask a Naturalist from Caw Caw Interpretive Center, 6 p.m. Dec. 12, 18, 26. Discover what local animals do in the winter.
Visit with Mrs. Claus: Starting at 5:30 p.m. Dec. 11, 13, 18, 19, 20, 21
Santa Claus is at the festival nightly from Nov. 25-Dec. 23! Families and dogs are invited for photos.
Fireworks, 9 p.m. on Dec. 31
