Build upon your basic swim knowledge and skill sets as you develop effective techniques and endurance for various swim styles including breaststroke, butterfly, backstroke, and freestyle.

Swim Club participants will have the option to register for free for the July 30 Youth Triathlon at James Island County Park.

About the Instructor

Coach Anne Foreman comes to us with a lifetime spent in the water and on deck, swimming, competing, teaching, and coaching. As a young adult, she competed in Club Swimming at the University of Maryland while also teaching swimming to individual ages 2 + at all skill levels. Anne's passion for swimming runs deep with an extensive travel schedule around the nation as a participate in open water competitions including Alcatraz, Sharkfest Swim, Swim Miami, and The Chesapeake Bay Swim. Locally, she is building her reputation as the Head Swimming Coach for Riptide Swimming at Charleston Charter and assistant coaching at Stall High School. Her approach to coaching is best summed up with her favorite quote from Chinese philosopher, Confucius, “Our greatest glory in not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall.”
