Heritage to Habitat Canoe Tour

Saturday, January 25, 2020

Glide silently past feeding herons and witness features hidden to trail-bound visitors by canoeing Caw Caw's waterways. These interpretive paddles offer a unique look into the ecology of the Lowcountry. Trained naturalists share the cultural and natural history of the area, citing important connections to the past, present, and future.

Ages 9 & up. A registered and paid chaperone is required for participants ages 15 and under.

While taking part in this activity, participants are required to sit for extended periods of time, bend knees, reach and pull with torso, and climb in and out of boats.

Paddles, life jackets, and canoes are provided to all participants. Due to the location of our launch sites, personal canoes are not allowed, as these areas are not publicly accessible.
