Huntington Beach State Park: 56 species were seen and/or heard on a cold, windy, partly cloudy day. The most interesting were:

- 5 Redhead Ducks (at James Island County Park at end of trip)
- 6 Golden - Crowned kinglets
- 6 Rudy Turnstones
- 8 Northern Gannets
- 9 (2 had light green bands with codes H3Y and C9A)
- 9 Red Knots
- 10 Black - Bellied Plovers
- 10 Horned Grebes
- 10 Red - Breasted Mergansers
- 11 Savannah Sparrows
- 12 Wood Ducks
- 15 Buffleheads
- 15 Willets
- 30 Hooded Mergansers
