"This is a photo of my 18 month old son, Ben, at Palmetto Islands County Park on December 26, 2008. This was our first trip to the Park. We went in search of a new playground but were disappointed to find it closed for renovations. Instead, we decided to explore the walkway around the marsh and had a fantastic time. Ben loved every minute of it and my husband and I were able to get some much needed exercise after indulging in too many Holiday desserts!
We have since visited Wannamaker County Park and have found our second home! Ben loves the playground and we can't wait until he is old enough for The Hill! I am sure we will eventually make our way to the other Park locations, but so far we have been very impressed with Palmetto Islands and Wannamaker."
