African American Heritage Days

Attention educators!  Reveal new meanings for your students by participating in African American Heritage Days at North Charleston Wannamaker County Park.  Join a celebration of African American culture and history through demonstrations, re-enactments, performances, hands-on experiences, and more!  This event addresses SC social studies standards and explores African American heritage, from its roots in Africa, to the Caribbean, the Americas, and specifically South Carolina.
