Sailing Camp
2010 Summer Camp

| Sailing Camp (ages 10-12 & 13-16) will focus on learning the basics of seamanship and sailing. Campers will split their day between learning the basics of sailing and other activities, such as the Climbing Wall and Challenge Course. There is a 6:1 camper-to-staff ratio, with 12 campers per session. |
| Beginner Sailing |
| Sailing instruction will include knot tying, seamanship, the techniques of sailing, and rigging. At the end of each session, participants will be able to operate a 2-person dinghy with safety and confidence. Activities are designed to provide hands-on learning while having lots of fun. |

| Junior Sailing |
| This 2-week session will allow campers to start with the basics and gain the skills and confidence to develop into proficient sailors, and enjoy the sights of our very own Charleston Harbor. Specific skills include knot tying, weather reading, rules of the nautical road, rigging, perfecting tacking and jibing, upwind sailing, and an introduction to dinghy racing. |
