Team Charleston consists of two Competitive Climbing Teams and a Recreational Climbing Club that are committed to teaching youth the importance of hard work, dedication, and teamwork. Our goal is to raise not only strong climbers, but to enable kids to become strong leaders in everything that they pursue.

Programs
Club Team
The Club Team is designed for ages 7-17 to introduce newcomers to the sport of climbing through basic climbing techniques, safety, belay instruction, and much more. Our hope is that many members of the Club will move up to the Team within a year’s time or less.
Competitive Training Team
Team Charleston is our year-round competitive climbing team, made up of dedicated and ambitious climbers ages 10-17 who want to reach new heights through training and competition.
Junior Competitive Team
The Junior Team is for climbers ages 8-14 who are eager to challenge their skills in the competition setting. Climbers will learn competition rules, disciplines and fundamentals, while developing a strong foundation in sportsmanship behavior.
